It started with ideas and sketches and more sketches. I reached out to friends and family known seamstresses for help. I made it a little ways in my progress. I had built prototypes with boxes,
I had built prototypes with boxes, plastic and tape but sewing a bag was challenging. I started out with this sample and using some other mock-ups I tried sewing a bag on my own. I was able to rough out a general idea but after parts came together I realized that this design was not optimal for my vision and moved on to another thought and tweaked the sketches. I was at a design crossroad. When creating a new design or product I learned that all the work that is done should never be considered a failure. As humans we learn from failure. Failure is also an accomplishment. Back to the drawing board!
